OUR MISSION

Youth Force Innovation Hub is a workforce development initiative of the Boys and Girls Club of Athens.

Whether they're looking for a post-secondary education, technical skill training, or immediate career readiness, we will use new and emerging technology to help local youth map out their paths for the future.

What We Do

TECHNOLOGY WE UTILIZE

Robotics

Students will gain hands-on training in basic and advanced robotic construction and coding. Students will learn about robot functioning, coding, and its case use in advanced job manufacturing.

Smart Board

Students will gain hands-on experience with Advance Smartboard technology. The student will become literate in basic computer management and operating systems

Virtual Reality

The Innovation Hub will enhance student learning through Virtual Reality. The student will gain knowledge on seven unique career pathways.

Audio/Video

As the filming industry continues to grow in Georgia, the need for skilled audio and video technicians is vital. The innovation hub will equip students with audio/video and lighting equipment.
