The Boys & Girls Clubs of Athens understand that post-secondary education is not for every student that walks through our doors. That, combined with the rapidly growing job market in the Athens area, inspired the clubs to prepare our youth to fill in those gaps.

 

YouthForce allows our kids to learn about their options after middle and high school - whether that be planning to further their education, learning skills to manage their money and secure employment, or pursuing training towards industries they may not know how to break into. Our Career Ready program allows members to map out their paths, whether that be choosing post-secondary education, technical degrees & certificates, or going directly into the workforce.

This program was designed with sustainability in mind. Everyone involved benefits from the successes of this program. With a growing number of Pipeline Partners, not only are kids receiving hands-on experience, but partners are able to recruit potential employees who are primed and ready to take full advantage of the opportunities presented to them.
